My Trip to NYC and a Freebie

Sorry I've been away from my blog for a little while.  I was in NYC for the last five days!  With school right around the corner, it was nice to have a little vacation to take a break from all the back-to-school prep.  I had an absolute blast!  Since I have been to NYC a couple of times before, I was able to do some new things this time around, such as going to the 9/11 Memorial (which wasn't constructed the last time I went), going to the Museum of Natural History, seeing the play Chicago, going "on top of the rock" at 30 Rock, going on a dinner cruise (which was absolutely picturesque), and much, much more!  The sweetest place I went was Dylan's Candy Bar (wow, I'm cheesy)...It was three floors of candy!  YUM!  I didn't even know about it until I watched a recent episode of Project Runway, so I had to go buy some treats!  ;)

Here are a couple of products, including a FREEBIE, that I have recently posted.  The FREEBIE was for getting to 300 followers on TpT!!!  I was so ecstatic to hit that milestone, and I really appreciate each and every follower I get! :)

Owl Themed Editable Labels $3.00                      Punctuation Mark Posters $2.00

  1. Kathleen - I don't know where else to ask this question but I just purchase your Owl classroom set and read the terms of use. If I use this set to decorate my classroom and then take pictures, I cannot display those on my personal blog? Or can I if I refer my readers back to you? Just want to make sure.

  2. It sounds like you had a lot of fun in NYC! We live about two hours away and love to travel there. Dylan's Candy Bar is amazing! Have you ever eaten at Serendipity? It is a very sweet restaurant and very near Dylan's. It is the same one featured in the John Cusack/Kate Beckinsale movie of the same name. So nice that you could get away!

  4. Jennie, you're welcome! Thanks for stopping by!

Sally, thank you for checking about the terms of use! I really appreciate it! You cannot display the actual pages online as downloadable files (to prevent people from being able to download them for free via a teacher's blog or website). I would love for you to take pictures of your classroom setup with all the owl themed materials I've created. In fact, if you email me at amaricrookston@aol.com, I would love to post your pictures on my blog with a referral link to your blog. Thanks! :)

Hi, Peanut Gallery! I LOVED Dylan's Candy Bar, but I never heard of Serendipity! I guess it gives me an excuse to go back to NYC ;)!

  5. I love, love, love all the owl items!!! I can't wait to hang my new signs in my classroom! Any chance you could make a Guidance or Counseling sign with an owl?! I will be sure to send all my 4th/5th grade friends to your blog!
