June Currently, Bud, Not Buddy, 5Ws & 1H, and End of the Year Awards

I'm linking up with Farley's June Currently!  I totally missed the last one (oops!), so I'm glad I got in on this one quickly!


I created some fun, language arts resources to use with the novel, Bud, Not Buddy. Bud, Not Buddy is a humorous historical fiction novel written by Christopher Paul Curtis.  It is a great book to use with 5th-6th graders.  Check out the resources by clicking on the pictures below!



Here are some colorful 5Ws and 1H posters to hang up in your classroom.  They are great for language arts or social studies (i.e. current event summaries)!



I created academic and owl themed EDITABLE end of the year certificates.  The owl themed certificates go perfectly with my Owl Themed Classroom set! :)

    I absolutely love Christopher Paul Curtis! Bud, Not Buddy is my second favorite right after The Watsons Go To Birmingham-1963! When he makes Todd pee in the bed, I am crying with laughter every single time!
