New Position and FREEBIE

I have some exciting news!  I interviewed for a new position, and I got the job!  Next year I will be teaching (drum roll, please).....FOURTH GRADE!!! I am really going to miss my colleagues and working with sixth graders, but I am so excited for my new teaching adventure.  I'm looking forward to expanding my experience in the middle grades and sharing new ideas with all of you.

Here is an adorable crayon monogram one of my sixth graders gave to me as an end of the school year gift.  I love it! <3

I went to my brother's graduation from The Ohio State University yesterday (Congrats, Tony!).  It was unbelievably hot out-I'm talking about three and a half hours in 90 degree weather!  I ran into Urban Meyer on the way into the stadium (see below).

Lastly, I wanted to post a FREEBIE to spread my happiness :)...I created an Owl Themed Classroom Jobs set.  Click below to snag it!

  7. Hey, Amanda. It's crazy that we're making the same switch! I recently U-Hauled all of my stuff to my new building, and now I have to figure out where to put it all (my new room is much smaller than my old one)! I have a feeling I won't be relaxing as much as I would like to this summer! I just want everything to look nice! Let me know how things go for you! :) Also, thank you for the award!
